So, about me. I am a woman, wife, mom, artist, feminist, lover, fighter, comedian, doula, foodie, and I am a storyteller. Since I was a little girl my social interactions with friends, family, and the people I met fed my soul. I am a social creature and thrive off of sharing and storytelling. As a child and teen I was labeled the “social butterfly” by every teacher I had. At times, these characteristics may have caused me to get in some trouble, but in the long run have greatly enriched my life.
My days are spent with my four children and husband, and we live in the moment quite often. I like stuff clean but chaotic. I am loud, but soft. I can be outdoors any given day or sit in a dark room with Netflix. My family and friends are my everything. I am always changing, but consistently the same. I am unique and eclectic, but blend well with others. I am in love with life and getting to know people and their stories. Most of all I am the weird girl who looks everyone I meet in the eye and genuinely means “Hi, how are you?” or “Have a great day, too!”
My photography career and this business were born out of love, self fulfillment, and the need for art to heal. My last pregnancy with my son B left me struggling with Postpartum Depression, and in desperate need for something to reconnect me with the world. In those dark moments, I picked up my camera to find the light. As I searched for hope, I found passion. My work fulfills me as much as it does my clients. I am here to share your stories, through my eyes.
